I recently finished the book Here I Am To Worship by Tim Hughes. Tim Hughes is a Worship Leader from England who has written some amazing worship songs. His book is thick with wisdom for the Worship Leader and Worship band members alike.
In the book Hughes starts off explaining worship, what it is, “Worship is our all consuming response to God” and where our worship should come from., “When our eyes truly see Jesus, and our hearts comprehend His life-changing love…His love will burst forth from us”. The next 7 chapters layout his methods on Worship Leading, Leading a Band, Choosing Songs, Musical Dynamics, and others.
It’s obvious to see that Hughes’ number 1 priority is Glorifying God, and he happens to do that through Worship Leading. I would recommend this book to both worship leaders and worship band members.
